Chapter 34: Weapons of Mass Seduction

Behold the beauty; the visage that masks a thousand sins. Crimson and Indie are devilishly destructive and they don't care who gets hurt but, after finding herself on the receiving end of some heartache recently, Indiana isn't feeling quite so careless anymore. Hey, at least she has Crimson to get her through the hard times.



At least she will have Crimson to help her out, just after she takes care of some business...



Yes, Nate was yummy and all, but Crim's a heartbreaker and she has work to do. The time had come to say goodbye to the hot stuff... for now anyways.



Following the breakups all round there was really only one thing to do next... par-tay!
And so Indie and Crim got dressed up in their finery, and prepared to boogie on down.



Of course, being a mentalist, Crimson's idea of formalwear was a little unconventional...



Before long all the guests had arrived and it was time to begin the fun. The Mars household was even graced by the presence of Super FuryRed, though she did spend the whole night booing her own daughter...

Don't blame me- freewill and all that jazz.



So there was one main mission in mind for the party, and that was helping Indie to achieve her lifetime wish, and perhaps put her relationship with Mitch behind her...
With a target in sight- Anne- Indiana started to work her charms.



Meanwhile across the room, Crimson honed in on Anne's brother Derrell as she looked to put another notch on her bedpost.



In hardly no time at all Indie had successfully schmoozed her last sucker and completed her lifetime wish of being a Heartbreaker... but we couldn't just leave it there could we?



Obviously Indie could have just stayed in a relationship with Anne forever; after all she'd achieved her goal now, but that wasn't really her style. And so Indie took Anne to bed, just like all the others. Why break the habit of a lifetime?



Meanwhile in the adjoining bedroom Crimson was also hitting the horizontal hotspot after getting Derrell to agree to be her boyfriend.



And of course after the sexytime followed the inevitable (though not strictly necessary this time) breakup.



Tandem breakups... I like it girls.



Total vixens... how I love them.



Oh, and as well as being a somewhat heartless siren of seduction, Crimson is also, as you well know, completely bonkers. Howevers, it was only very recently that she actually started showing her crazy side.



She chills me, she really does.



Following the completion of her lifetime wish Indie should have been happy, but as you know it's never that simple. It seemed that, by finally getting what she had always wanted, Indie had discovered that she didn't really want it at all. She wanted something else; someone else...



It pained her to make that phonecall; the feelings of vulnerability and openess were almost more than she could bear, but Indie knew she had to do it. And maybe, just maybe, it would be worth it in the end.



Maybe he was worth it too.



It was weird talking to Mitch again after their distance, but kind of familiar and comfortable too. Indie didn't know where it would lead or what it meant, just that she was happy in this moment and that she didn't want it to pass.



But the decision of their future wasn't completely hers, and that killed her slightly. Indiana knew she had hurt Mitch badly- what she didn't know was if he would ever forgive her. Only time would tell.



Obsession would drive her mad, so in the meantime Indie would have to get on with her life. The following day she headed to the park with her half-sister for a little fun, and distraction of course.



Once there, Indie began to play her guitar for tips whilst Crimson worked on getting back into Nate's frilly man-knickers...



As the two had stayed sort-of-friends after their breakup it didn't take much effort for Crimson to win Nate over once again, and before long they were embracing like old times.



But Nate was just for fun, and Crimson still had other men to get on, I mean, with. Next up was Lamont- another of Indie's exes.

We so need some more men in this town... I would ask people to link me their hotties but my launcher can only download Sims from people with games patched up to 1.46. Anyone?



Anyways, once again Lamont was invited to a Mars girl boudoir, but only after Crimson had convinced him to dump his wife! That's pretty harsh Crim, even Indie didn't wreck marriages.



And, as you'd expect, it only got harsher.... BAHAHA!



Ahem. So after she'd had her wicked way with the latest lucky or perhaps unfortunate soul, Crimson had her boytoy Nate come over. It's the same bed as well, filthy mare.



Meanwhile Indie was outside having fun with everyone's favourite houseguest- yes it's Mitch again.



Maybe she should have stayed away- maybe it would have been safer for her sanity to just let it be, but Indie couldn't help herself. Mitchell was her best friend, and just because they hadn't worked as a couple didn't mean they couldn't still be mates right?



Indie knew that she was lying to herself- there were still feelings there and trying to conceal them with a confusing friendship would never work, but the only alternative was to say goodbye again. Indie just didn't have the words.



And so when the night ended and she walked Mitch out the front door, Indie placed her hands on his hips and kissed him firmly on the lips. It was a kiss that was final yet fluid; a goodbye, with an invitation to return. Now the decision was all his.



The following morning Crimson woke bright and early and ran off to the gym for a workout (or to look for a workout of a different kind).



In her bedroom Indie woke in quiet agitation. Last night's kiss burned across her lips and wouldn't let her rest, and now she was just left with the brand and the unspoken questions that scarred. She'd said all she could, and now she just had to wait. That was the worst part.



To pass the time she spoke with Nate and filled her mind with idle chatter. They had a lot in common, both being Virtuosos and both being Evil, and Indie found solace in the easy dialogue and simple laughs.



What happened next came as no surprise to anyone.






In the evening Crimson returned home and the trio shared an uneasy dinner. Indie didn't think it would do any good telling her sister what had happened, and she wasn't even sure that Crim would care. No, it was better this way- safe in silence.



The following day Indie tried to put on a happy face as she celebrated her birthday and impending maturity, of sorts.



With her birthday came a present for Indie- an attic of her very own in which to paint and display her work.

I totally love Indie's paintings- they're so colourful and always seem to display what she's thinking or feeling.



Now Indie had a creative space of her very own she really threw herself into her painting, but as always she was consumed. It had been days since she had kissed Mitch and he still hadn't called... but then again, why would he? He'd been the one who had tried to give his heart, only to have it broken. It was her fault they had ended, so she had to make the first move towards fixing things. It was time to suck up that pride, and call him.



When Mitch arrived she took him by the hand as she trembled. She told him she was sorry that she had hurt him, but she wasn't sorry that she had refused to marry him. She knew what she wanted and she wasn't afraid to say it. In this case what she wanted was him.



It wasn't a perfect declaration of love by any standards, but it was from her heart and that was all Mitch wanted.



Yes they still wanted different things from life, but people can change if they want to. So with one simple brush of the lips, Mitch and Indie were back where they wanted to be- together.









In the morning the haze of renewed promises still surrounded the couple as they sat together. Crimson had gone out for the day so Mitch and Indie were alone just like they wanted... but they wouldn't be alone for long.






Immediately after the arrival of her baby bump Indie got sick. It wasn't the new life growing inside of her or the fact that she was soon to be a mother, it was something else.
She didn't know who the father was.



When Indie got to bed that night Mitch was already asleep, and for that she was extremely grateful. Eight hours of unconsciousness gave her time to think; time to figure out just what she was going to do about this impossible situation.



In the morning it was so much clearer, and Indie had no doubt in her mind as to what the course of action should be. She had only just got Mitch back and she wasn't about to lose him again, so she did something very brave. She told him the truth.



A whole host of emotions flooded Mitchell as he thought things through- the pregnancy, the baby on the way that might not be his. There was so much to consider, but not for Mitch. He loved Indie completely, and so he told her he would stand by her no matter what. Now the couple could only wait to see the child, and see if the secrets of its paternity would be revealed in its looks.



Meanwhile Crimson was getting to grips with her latest man-shaped plaything; a guy called Taurus.

Interesting fact for you now- his surname is Otto-Mars, so he's actually related to Crimson o_O Very distantly mind, and from the looks of him I'd say he's descended from Gen 5's Camden.



Anyways, time to use 'em and lose 'em.



Elsewhere in the house Indie's baby bump continued to grow, and she painted to pass the time. On one occasion of artistry an enthused-looking Mitch also visited the attic and celebrated his birthday whilst he was there.



Sparkles and all that.



Sadly Mitch's lovely hairdo was only for young adults, so I had to give him a new one now he was a bit more grown up. Boo, but he still looks pretty choice.



Anyways, here's a cute picture of the happy couple whiling away the days of pregnancy, and now let's move on to the main event...



Labour time! Now I don't know what the skin colour will tell us about paternity, but let's have a looksie shall we?



Go away sparkles, I want to see the sprog.



And here he is- a little boy named Bronx. No purple skintone, in fact a normal one that's actually a bit darker than any of the Sims I've had in a while. Dunno where that's from.

The kid is already winking at me... I don't know what that tells us o_O



So little Bronx here came into the world with the Athletic and Evil traits. Extreme yay! Gotta love my trio of Evil Simmies.



Whilst Bronx was growing Indie was never far away, and Mitch provided the child with constant care; knowing that he would be there for the boy even if he turned out not to be his son.



The days passed quickly for Crimson too as she blazed her way through another conquest. And no, your eyes are not deceiving you- it's another one of those floaty head Sims.



Bahaha, best picture EVER.



So before long it was time for Bronx to age up, and time to see if you can tell who his daddy is...



Without further ado, Bronx began to sparkle. So just who does he take after? Is it clear if his father is Mitch or Nate?
