Chapter 36: Witness the Fitness

I feel for little Blaze FuryRed- only a child and she's already lost her mom. Yes, last chapter poor Crimson succumbed to Death's beckoning bony hand and shuffled off this mortal coil, leaving Blaze motherless. Ho well, at least she has her in-laws to see her through this tough time.



Ah, well. They seem a bit caught up with their own bereavement atm; poor little Mars guys.



But life does go on after all, and at least Blaze's cuz Bronx was on hand to cheer her up.



Afterwards Bronx decided to hit up the Sim ladies of the neighbourhood, and introduced himself to some fellow teens. This here is Ciara. Sadly Bronx only managed a quick hello before she ran off : (



Nevermind, working those glutes will help Bronx feel better!



The following day it was time for Blaze's birthday, and I for one am uber curious to see how she turns out... Let's have a looksie shall we?

Blaze here gained the Hopeless Romantic trait upon her transition, which should be interesting. Love can wait for now though, cause she has her cousin to keep her amused.



Blaze and Bronx were extremely close as children, and they've retained that friendship to now. It's nice- I worry my only-child Simmies will get lonely otherwise.



Friendships among the other members of the family were solid too, and Bronx liked nothing more than just chilling with his parentals. There was just one problem...



Don't worry- no one died- it's the fricking ghosts again. Some, like lovely Eden here, are fine; they pop up, shimmy around the place a bit, then naff off home. But not all of them are that considerate...



Gen 4's Mayana has been in the Mars house for about a week now, non-stop! She just wont frack off. On this occasion she rocked up to the kitchen, made some food, wet herself, then collapsed like a sack of spuds. Wtf mate?
She still makes a mean Key Lime Pie though, nom nom.



Anyways, elsewhere in the hoose it was time for Indie to age up. Boooooo.



She doesn't look too shabby as an elder really, but still. Old Sims suxx.



Ah well, at least she has a bit of the hot stuff to get her through her olde age ; )



Er, Bronx? Bad time to enter the room yanno?



Don't look at it, get out!



Whoops too late- scarred for life.



Speaking of inappropriate situations... Hmm how do I put this? It seems Blaze here is a little bit smitten with someone she can't have...



Oh deary me.



In most games this sort of thing is a no-no, but mine likes to throw strange glitches at me to keep me on my toes.
And what is she doing to his back? o_O



Bronx meanwhile was oblivious to his cousin's thoughts, as he was busy making the move on Ciara.



Blaze was none too happy when she saw them canoodling...



Oh Blaze, no no no.



Sadly, no matter what Blaze tried Bronx could not be swayed from his pursuit, and soon he and Ciara shared their first kiss (that I forgot to take a picture of).



Aww, I feel for the girl I really do.



So whilst the kids were busy with their own takes on lust, Mitch here was hard at work. He's a novelist dontcha know, a dirty novelist ; )
Well, in this game it's called 'trashy', but you get the jist. Anyways, Mitch may as well get out all the sauce he can cause his days are numbered.



I don't want him to be olde *cry cry*



Ho well, he aged well I guess.



So as the days passed in the Mars household I waited eagerly for Crimson's ghost to appear, but sadly she was nowhere to be seen.
With her mother absent, Blaze instead spent time bonding with her aunt Indie.



She also continued to pursue Bronx, in her own charming way ^_^



He didn't always treat her particularly well though... Ruddy evil Sims <3



With her crush on her cousin going nowhere, Blaze instead turned her attentions to a boy in the neighbourhood called James.



He seemed like a good candidate for Blaze's first kiss.



In their freetime Blaze and Bronx spent their time exploring the town, having their own little adventures.



With Simhenge being the only remotely interesting destination in town (I so need a new neighbourhood) the cousins immediately headed there to catch some butterflies and that.



Aww, bless.



They stayed out all day, just enjoying each others company.



And as night fell Bronx and Blaze watched the sun set together.



Afterwards they had a nice jog home, as you do : p



Meanwhile at the house Indie was painting up a storm as usual. The attic is now full of her awesome creations.



So the next several days in the Mars house passed in their usual fashion, and as Ciara had aged up by now Bronx got himself a new playmate.



Meanwhile Mitch and Indie continued their loving relationship in their usual style...



And Blaze? Well she was a bit of a Neurotic mess to be honest- very OCD.
I can relate.



Bronx continued to build up his athletic skill, as well as his muscles.



Bahaha.



All this working out was timely enough, as soon the day arrived when Bronx would become a man- oh yeah.



Naturally the whole family gathered for the occasion- notice the ghost present even though it's daylight.



Sparkly sparkles.



Ooh my, he's a devilishly handsome hottie. But wait- there's more. Hold on to your pacemakers...



Woof, I sense an Eden-esque pervathon coming on.

Ahem, enough of that. Behave yourself Fury...



So it seems I'm not the only one impressed by Bronx's transformation- Blaze can't keep her eyes off him (and who can blame her?)



Ah, she wasn't so impressed though when he told her about his new trait- Commitment Issues.
Let it go Blaze- it'll never be you.



It wont be anyone long-term really, which presents me with a bit of a problem when it comes to finding Bronx someone to continue the legacy with. Ho well, for now Ciara can help Bronx get some practice in.



Lucky cow...



My god Blaze, give it up hun.



So Bronx's lifetime wish is to reach the top of the political career, so he soon got himself a job and began to work on his charisma skill.

Do you like his clothing? He looks like a ravers wet dream : p



Blaze meanwhile spent most of her time dancing, and she kept pulling out moves I've never seen before. Maybe it's because she's a Party Animal?



Have I said yet how much I loves her? I can't believe she's my Sim grandchild : p



Wow, Bronx really looks like his dad when he does that. Anyways, any guesses as to why he looks so happy?



Yes of course it's birthday time again. I really hope Blaze retains her awesomeness as she ages...



Holy crapsicle, where did they come from? o_O
